May flowers
Sticking to a tradition, I created the spring flower composition in May during the Mother's Day weekend. The patinated surface of a wheelbarrow worked as a photo background, and the bright spring sun drew shadows of apple tree branches on top. The spring garden provided daffodils, primroses, pennycresses, and scillas. Cute furry assistant Piko was supervising my work (from a safe distance, he is a bit too interested in branches in particular).
The Collection of treasures is my Instagram photo project. Four times a year, one for each season, I create a composition of the plants available in the garden. You can find all four seasons on Instagram with the hashtag #harjunpelto.
