Charming clematis

While putting together the summer collage, the graying sky made me pick up the pace. In the end, I had to rush my gathered treasures inside to escape the rain.

I had to dash back out for the last few flowers as the first drops started to fall, and I thought, I really hope the kid and grandma aren't watching from the window as I run around the yard with scissors... Well, of course, they were, wondering what on earth I was up to.

The absolute stars of this year’s summer collection are the stunningly pink clematis. At first, I hesitated to cut any for the collage, thinking they were too beautiful to take, but I just had to include them!
