Spring flowers

I’m originally from Lammi, a small town that is nowadays a part of the city of Hämeenlinna. My mom still lives in Lammi and has a lovely garden full of inspiring plants. Starting from 2014, I have made seasonal collage, a “Collection of treasures” photo with my favorite picks. All the four seasons can be found on Instagram with the hashtag #harjunpelto (which is based on the name of the property).

Often spring feels like a long season, from the first small buds all the way to right before it turns into full bloom and summer. Same time it can be a very surprising season as sometimes the winter strikes back and it snows in May.

The spring compositions are often quite delicate, light and airy with tiny details.
